THE PROCESS

"We place a considerable emphasis on the creative application of new ideas, new materials and new technologies that can ultimately produce better results for those intended"

The process we employ is perhaps different from other developers. We begin with a thorough understanding of the market for who’s needs a particular development is mandated to address. While this might seem obvious, current needs are only part of the equation - what we are really interested in is determining what the future needs could be that the same market may have in the years to come.

Our lifestyles are dynamic and evolving, from the young professional to the family to the downsizing couple, our needs are constantly changing. It is for this reason that our process starts with this understanding. We spend tremendous time piecing together the concepts that will guide our developments, so that all the measuring is done before anything begins and before you become part of the equation. It is during this step that we place a considerable emphasis on the creative application of new ideas, new materials and new technologies that can ultimately produce better results for those intended. In effect we put the client at the centre of the process striving to ensure that things start and end with who will be actually using the spaces and how.

Design is central to this progression. The ability to address the challenges of any set of circumstances in manner that is more applicable, and longer lasting is blended together with meaningful, artful, and appealing design - at every level.

The common place is important to us. The weight of a door as it swings and how it closes, the amount of natural light a space captures, the amount of useful storage etc. Everything matters.

Once we have our concept and have mapped out how the concept will become the finished product, down to the detailing of everything that will come together to create the spaces we will be developing, we test our ideas. Focus groups composed of individuals representing cross sections of the market needs we

intend to address are exposed to the concept so that their feedback and suggestions can be worked into the final product.

This is our process. Somewhat more lengthy, and perhaps more costly, but worth it on every level.
